About the Director: Marissa A. Martinez
Marissa A. Martinez, known by peers, faculty, and friends as "Marti", is a Cinematic Arts & Technology alumni from California State University Monterey Bay, class of Spring 2018. When not in the middle of the hectic filmmaking life, Marti is a 22-year-old freelance digital artist and graphic designer pursuing a career in screenwriting, directing, production and character design in both live action and animation. Coming from the Salad Bowl of the Nation and the hometown of John Steinbeck himself, Salinas, California, Marti is well-rounded in various roles of filmmaking in pre-production and post-production all around. With experience in screenwriting, directing, producing, gaffing, cinematography, editing, compositing, animating, sound design and more, there's no job Marti isn't willing to take-on on or offset.
